Archangel
The Archangel is a unique minimalist instrument utilizing the airfoil-shaped neck cross-section that I first developed for my fretless guitars. This one has frets, but that's about it. There is only cocobolo rosewood for the body and curly maple for the fretboard and bridge, tensioned with steinberger gearless tuners. A custom-designed pickup from Pete Biltoft at Vintage Vibe pickups is hidden under the bridge plate. It's hardwired through a permanent tone control for a mellow and jazzy tone.
Sometimes less is the best.
