A-train

Take the A-Train to Toneland! This 16" deep-bodied archtop is intended as a fully acoustic instrument. That seventh string can be tuned to a low A for deep and complex chords. The large body helps the low notes resonate, while the offset assymetrical shape ensures it is comfortable to hold. The back is only slightly curved, in the manner of a flattop guitar, for a more complex and detailed tone. And if you need more volume, you can simply plug in the passive K&K soundboard pickups.

The soundboard is of European Spruce, while the body and neck are local black cherry with the treasured ray-fleck pattern. Fretboard and fitments are jet-black african ebony. Naturally, it is equipped with a two-way truss rod, stainless-steel frets and slick Swiss Schertler tuners.
