When I was a kid I used to love going to upper canada village- I dreamed that when I grew up, I would be one of those people who work there, if only they had job openings for astronauts or race car drivers.
So when they asked if I would like to be an exhibitor in their inaugural Wood Lovers' Weekend as a luthier, of course I jumped at the chance! I'll be in the education centre building on Oct. 8th, 9th, and 10th, carving out the parts for an archtop guitar for a live audience.
It's an easy day trip from Ottawa or Montreal, at the best time of year for enjoying the old fashioned way of life. I highly recommend checking it out. Here are the details:
